Any suggestions to improve this concept are welcome. When the e-book is published, we intend to link back to the website for very high resolution images. This is all a work-in-progress.

  1. Hello. I found one of your soldier's graves here in Minneapolis, MN today and he's not on your list.

  2. I am related to LT Farr of company A. We have some letters and documents we could share.
Please post your email so I can send a few scans.

  3. Good to hear from you! I'm definitely interested in copies of the letters and documents. My e-mail is rutans@comcast.net.

Do you have information about Lt. Farr's service in the 179th? I have copies of documents in his carded military service record (e.g. his oath as an officer) and his pension file at the National Archives that I would be glad to send you if you are interested.
